A small word can be a big light
You might be the first kind sentence that somebody hears today
oh hello
during my ebullient exercises at the gym this morning I was flattered by a small compliment I wondered how tiny words can make a massive difference
because in business we tend to worship the big things
I started wondering that maybe the real problem is not the people need more fiery inspiration
maybe the real problem is that many people are flying around in the dark waiting for a small signal that they're not completely useless that they matter in some way
naturally I got distracted and started searching for fireflies
I discovered that Fireflies are not actually flies their Beatles
which means that nature encourage occasionally has a branding problem but a firefly does not light up the whole Forest it gives off tiny flashes which actor signals for other five-flies to know I see you you not alone you matter you are worthy
shorter of becoming a firefly myself I became I Began thinking maybe encouragement works in the same way. Could we become fireflies and make the world a better place?
it doesn't need violin or confetti or somebody shouting believe harder perhaps it's a small act a change the can make such a difference
a small word of encouragement can be a big light
